Asher Ornan was born in Haifa – Israel on 1933. He graduated the 'Reali' High school and joind the IDF on 1951 where served as a combat engineering corp officer.

Asher Ornan graduated Georgia Tech institute of technology as a Chemical Engineer on 1959 .

Aasher was a leading safety engineer in the young Israeli industry and one of the base poles of the safety engineering profession in Israel.

On 1977 Asher Ornan founded Eng. A. Ornan ltd which is a leading safety engineering firm.

Asher had enormous knowledge on variety of fields including Archeology, History, Jewish philosophy, Art and more.

He died on August 2014.
